About Ever Wander Photography
I’m Michelle, a photographer working with a focus on place, movement, and visual narrative.
My work balances observation with intentional direction—allowing moments to unfold while shaping the frame with purpose. I’m drawn to images where environment, light, and gesture work together, creating photographs that feel cinematic, grounded, and precise.
Ever Wander Photography grew from a long-standing connection to landscape and travel, with the high desert serving as a recurring influence. Its scale, impermanence, and light inform much of my work, anchoring each project in a strong sense of place.
Before photography, I worked in research and science. That background continues to inform my practice through a measured, detail-driven approach valuing structure, clarity, and intention throughout the creative process.
My editorial series Lost in the Desert — Palm Springs, Circa 1964 was published in STAR Magazine’s Fashion & Beauty Edition (Feb 2026), reflecting my ongoing interest in concept-driven, place-anchored storytelling.
Based in the high desert and available for commissioned travel with advance planning, I work with couples, brands, and collaborators on destination weddings, editorial projects, and travel-driven imagery.
My work has been featured in community events like the Joshua Tree Music Festival, The Desert Rodeo, and the Palm Springs Air Show and I was honored to share my story in SDVoyager Magazine as part of their Inspiring Stories series.
